Virasena

The Yuddha Kandam of the Ramavataram mentions the killing of Virasena, in which Dilipa is involved. Once an asura named Virasena attacked Kubera; however, the gods Shiva and Vishnu were unable to defeat him. Vishnu told Kubera to seek the help of the king Dilipa, who came to Kubera's mythical city of Alaka. Dilipa fired arrow after arrow at Virasena, but every drop of blood spilled caused the formation of a new Virasena. To finish the unending battle, Dilipa prayed to the goddess Rakteshwari, who came and drank all the blood of Virasena, allowing for his death.

Ramphal

Lord Rama, his wife Sita, and his loyal companion Lakshmana spent a considerable time in the Dandaka Forest. It is believed that during this period, Sita longed for a particular fruit, and Lakshmana ventured into the forest to find it for her.

Legend has it that Lakshmana encountered the demoness Surpanakha during his quest for the fruit. This meeting eventually led to the chain of events that played a significant role in the unfolding of the Ramayana. , the heart-shaped Ramphal is regarded as a representation of love and devotion, reflecting the deep connection between Lord Rama and his consort Sita. The fruit, with its unique history, adds a cultural layer to its significance, making it more than just a delicious tropical treat.
